Tribute to Salvatore Di Giacomo

An evening dedicated to the memory and artistic legacy of Salvatore Di Giacomo, a prominent figure in Neapolitan literature and poetry, who was able to portray with delicacy and depth the soul of a people.
Opening the event will be Andrea Esposito and the association’s president, Umberto Lucio Amore, who will introduce the program devoted to the author. This will be followed by a talk by Dr. Castiglione, who will offer the audience a vivid portrait of Di Giacomo’s life and works, weaving together biography, poetry, and historical context in an engaging narrative.
Enhancing the atmosphere will be the musical accompaniment of Maestro Vito Colella, whose notes will ideally converse with the poet’s verses. The evening will also be enriched by readings of unpublished poems performed by members Salvatore Spataro and Pier Dellevigne, in an interplay of words and music capable of evoking deep emotions.
