Super Mario Galaxy – The Movie, directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, is the sequel to The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023), and brings back to the screen Mario (voiced in the original version by Chris Pratt), Luigi (voiced by Charlie Day), Princess Peach (voiced by Anya Taylor-Joy), Toad (voiced by Keegan-Michael Key), Bowser (voiced by Jack Black), and the other timeless characters of the Nintendo universe.
After defeating Bowser and saving Brooklyn, Mario finds himself facing a new and dangerous alliance: the one between Wario and Bowser Jr., determined to carry forward the world-domination plans begun by their predecessor. When the threat extends beyond the boundaries of Earth, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad are catapulted into deep space, where bizarre planets, unusual creatures, and entirely new worlds await them.
Guiding them on their cosmic mission is Rosalina (voiced by Brie Larson), together with her imposing Comet Observatory, which offers the heroes a new perspective on the universe and on the dark forces threatening it.
With the help of Yoshi, the group will face Bowser Jr. and the schemes of the new evil alliance in an epic galactic adventure that connects directly to the events of the first film. Amid interstellar battles, spectacular settings, and the fast-paced rhythm that defines the saga, Mario and his friends must join forces to protect the galaxy and stop yet another attempt to bring chaos to their world.
