TIFEO – THE SLEEPING GIANT: THE JOURNEY HAS BEGUN
The events of the second edition of “Tifeo – The Sleeping Giant” have officially begun. The project accompanies residents and visitors on a journey to discover the Forio area through trails, nature, history, culture and traditions.
The images from the first routes mark the beginning of a journey that will continue until December 18, with new events dedicated to discovering and promoting the most evocative and authentic places in our area.
Organized by the Municipality of Forio in collaboration with Actus Tragicus.
The trails continue, and bookings are already open.

Departure with a shuttle service from the Marinai d'Italia car park to the Bracconiere Restaurant.
The Green Tuff Trail
Descending from Frassitelli, the route passes through the Falanga woods, a chestnut grove that was once a vineyard centuries ago, as evidenced by the ancient rock-hewn wine presses, stone houses, dry-stone walls known as “parracine”, and snow pits. The route ends in Santa Maria, home to its 18th-century little church.
