“Pinocchio” by Livio Viano – Theatrical Performance

This year’s event takes on an even deeper institutional and cultural significance: it celebrates the Bicentennial of the birth of Carlo Collodi.
For the occasion, the play “Pinocchio” by Livio Viano, performed by the young actress Amandine Delclos, returns in a special celebratory version designed to offer students a more immersive educational experience.
The Fondazione Karin e Gabriele Mattera ETS, long committed to promoting art and culture at the Aragonese Castle, in collaboration with the Teatro d'Aosta company directed by Livio Viano, presents this production to honor Carlo Collodi and strengthen the connection between younger generations and the island’s symbolic monument through the universal language of theatre.
The Foundation offers free admission for Ischia school students and provides teachers with educational materials about the play and the history of the castle.
Performance period: May 21–29 and June 1–4
