Bellissima – Visconti 120 Special opens with a tribute to Titanus, Italy's oldest film production company.
The opening evening will feature Guido Lombardo, President of Titanus and son of the legendary producer Goffredo Lombardo, who worked alongside Luchino Visconti on masterpieces such as Rocco and His Brothers and The Leopard.
The event will include the screening of Giuseppe Tornatore's documentary The Last Leopard: Portrait of Goffredo Lombardo, offering a unique insight into one of the most remarkable periods in the history of Italian cinema.
Following the screening, Guido Lombardo will be joined in conversation by Massimo Veneziano and Simone Conti, with the discussion moderated by Gianmaria Tammaro.
Villa La Colombaia, Luchino Visconti's former residence in Forio, once again becomes a home for culture as it hosts the celebrations marking the 120th anniversary of the director's birth.
