About Steve Della Casa
Steve Della Casa (Turin, 1953) is one of Italy's most respected film critics. In 1974, he founded the legendary Turin film club "Movie Club" and was among the founders of the Turin Film Festival, serving as its director from 1999 to 2002.
Since 1994, he has hosted the daily radio programme "Hollywood Party" on Rai Radio 3, often alongside his friend Francesco De Gregori.
On 17 April 2024, he was appointed Curator of the National Film Archive at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia.
He contributes to the newspaper La Stampa and numerous specialist publications, including FilmTv and Cineforum. He is also the author of essays and documentaries on Italian cinema, including the award-winning documentary I Tarantiniani.
