Ischia – Italian Open Water Tour 2026

On October 3 and 4, 2026, Ischia will host a new stage of the Italian Open Water Tour, an event dedicated to open-water swimming enthusiasts, offering two days of competition in one of the most spectacular settings in the Mediterranean.

The undisputed star of the races will be the Aragonese Castle, serving as the central buoy and an extraordinary landmark throughout the competitions. This world-famous skyline will accompany the swimmers during a unique experience where sport, sea, nature and culture come together.

Adding to the spectacular nature of the course is the passage beneath the “current” footbridge, together with the magic of the Nettuno Marine Protected Area and the start from the Faraglioni of Procida for the HARD SWIM race.

An extraordinary open-water swimming experience, surrounded by the colors and atmosphere of a Mediterranean late summer, between the islands of Ischia and Procida.
