A Red Bench for the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, celebrated every year on November 25, the students of the lower secondary school of I.C. “E. Ibsen,” in collaboration with the Municipality of Casamicciola Terme, took part in creating a Red Bench, a symbol to raise awareness against gender-based violence.

In recent days, the students of the 2nd and 3rd grades worked to paint and decorate the bench, donated by the Municipality, which will be placed in Piazza Marina on Wednesday, November 26, as a sign of solidarity with all victims and as a message of hope for future generations.

Through this initiative, the I.C. “E. Ibsen” wanted to send a strong message of awareness and reflection on a fundamental principle: violence is never a form of love. The school is committed to fostering a culture of respect and equality, offering support and trust to those in need of help.
