  Ministry of Culture\, amateur and professional musicians filled streets\,
  courtyards\, squares\, gardens\, stations\, and museums throughout France
 . More than simply making musical practice visible\, the Music Festival ha
 s become a genuine social phenomenon.&nbsp\;\nSince 1985\, the European Ye
 ar of Music\, the Music Festival has been celebrated across Europe and aro
 und the world. Since 1995\, the cities of Barcelona\, Berlin\, Brussels\, 
 Budapest\, Naples\, Paris\, Prague\, Rome\, and Senigallia have been found
 ing members of the European Music Festival Association. In 2016\, a major 
 turning point occurred in Italy: thanks to the work of the Italian Associa
 tion for the Promotion of the Music Festival (AIPFM) and the institutional
  support of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism\, more than 700 
 cities joined the initiative\, creating a nationwide network spread across
  the country.\nEvery year on June 21\, countless live music concerts take 
 place in cities throughout Italy\, mainly outdoors\, featuring musicians o
 f all levels and genres. Free concerts\, the value of musical expression\,
  spontaneity\, openness\, curiosity\, and the inclusion of every musical s
 tyle are at the heart of the Festival. Whether amateur or professional\, e
 veryone is free to express themselves. Above all\, the Music Festival belo
 ngs to those who make it happen.\nIn particular\, the 2026 edition\, theme
 d “The Voice of Places” (La Voce dei Luoghi)\, aims to highlight the impor
 tant contribution that choirs have made—and continue to make—to Italy’s mu
 sical heritage. By enhancing the cultural characteristics and traditions o
 f each local area\, the Festival promotes significant initiatives focused 
 on the cultural and social role of music through concerts\, performances\,
  and events. June 21 will be a day dedicated to caring for Italy’s environ
 mental and cultural heritage\, celebrated through music.\nFor the twenty-s
 ixth year\, the Pro Loco di Casamicciola Terme APS is organizing this inte
 rnational event on the island of Ischia. The event will take place on Sund
 ay\, June 21\, starting at 8:30 PM\, in the churchyard of the Pontifical B
 asilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Saint Mary Magdalene in Casamicci
 ola Terme\, under the patronage of the Municipality of Casamicciola Terme.
