Friday, July 10 – 11:00 AM
Council Chamber, Town Hall – Via Iasolino
Join us for the official press conference presenting the 2026 edition of the Festa a Mare agli Scogli di Sant'Anna.
In the timeless beauty of Cartaromana Bay, at the foot of the Aragonese Castle, the celebration that brings together art, history, faith, and community returns once again.
The theme for 2026? An imaginary thread connecting the sea with the island's history and its origins.
Through stories, testimonies, and historical research, we will rediscover the ancient devotion to Saint Anne, patron saint of expectant mothers, who has long been venerated in the small church among the rocks on July 26.
The four local associations of the island will once again take centre stage, showcasing their craftsmanship, music, and deep love for Ischia's traditions.
There will also be many new features for the evening of July 26, including the traditional decorated boat parade, accompanying events, and plenty of surprises!
And that's not all!
12:30 PM – Liceo Giorgio Buchner
Presentation of the students' artwork created for the project "On Stage by the Sea", where young people interpret the Festa through creativity, art, and imagination.
The goal is simple: to honour Saint Anne while telling the story of Ischia through its sea, its people, and its history.
We look forward to welcoming you!
