SYNOPSIS
Super Mario Galaxy – The Movie, directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, is the sequel to 2023’s The Super Mario Bros. Movie and brings back Mario (voiced by Chris Pratt), Luigi (voiced by Charlie Day), Peach (voiced by Anya Taylor-Joy), Toad (voiced by Keegan-Michael Key), Bowser (voiced by Jack Black), and the other beloved characters from the Nintendo universe.
After defeating Bowser and saving Brooklyn, Mario faces a new and dangerous alliance: Wario and Bowser Jr., who are determined to continue the world domination plans begun by their predecessor. When the threat expands beyond Earth, Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Toad are launched into deep space, where strange planets, unusual creatures, and unexplored worlds await them.
Leading them on their cosmic mission is Rosalina (voiced by Brie Larson), along with her majestic Comet Observatory, which offers the heroes a new perspective on the universe and the dark forces threatening it.
With the help of Yoshi, the group must confront Bowser Jr. and the schemes of this new villainous alliance in an epic galactic adventure that directly follows the events of the first film. Through interstellar battles, spectacular worlds, and the energetic spirit that defines the franchise, Mario and his friends must join forces once again to protect the galaxy and stop yet another attempt to plunge their universe into chaos.
