PLOT

…Che Dio Perdona a Tutti the film directed by Pif, stars Arturo (Pif), a happily single man who works as a real estate agent.
His main goal in life is not to change anything. He is satisfied with playing five-a-side football with his friends and, above all, with his great passion for desserts, especially those made with ricotta. Among them, his favorite is the sciù (a type of cream puff), which he considers unbeatable when he buys it from the best pastry shop in Palermo.
It is there that Flora (Giusy Buscemi), the owner’s daughter, enters the scene. Smart, determined, and deeply Catholic, Flora immediately becomes the woman of Arturo’s dreams. Religion, however, represents a significant obstacle. For Flora, it is a matter of principle, followed with the same meticulousness with which Arturo judges a well-made dessert.
To win her over, he even ends up playing Jesus in a Via Crucis procession, turning what should be a test of faith into a real personal ordeal, filled with mistakes and gaffes bordering on the blasphemous. Despite everything, Flora falls in love with him, and for a while the two enjoy a happy relationship.
But this fragile balance cannot last long. When Flora discovers the truth about Arturo’s religious indifference, he reacts in an unexpected way. Out of exhaustion and provocation, he promises to follow the word of God to the letter for three weeks.
A decision that will completely disrupt his routine and put his beliefs and relationships to the test. This time, however, he is not alone: accompanying him is a truly unexpected accomplice — the Pope.
