ALFA TESTBED: The Fishing of the Future

Workshop Objective

To actively involve all stakeholders in the area—local authorities and institutions from the islands of Ischia and Procida, fishermen, universities, research centers, and the local community—in the development and enhancement of the ALFA testbed (Automated Logbook and Fish Recognition).

The initiative is part of the MED-HUBS – Mediterranean Blue Economy Hubs European project and aims to gather real needs from the territory and launch the field testing phase of the project.
