Un Bel Giorno the film directed by Fabio De Luigi, tells the story of Tommaso (Fabio De Luigi), a widower and devoted father of four daughters who has spent years putting his family first, sacrificing his private life. Only when his daughters, now grown, encourage him to think a little about himself, does he decide to open his heart to love again.
He then meets Lara (Virginia Raffaele), a charming, intelligent, and lively woman. An immediate connection sparks between them, but Tommaso chooses not to reveal his complex family situation right away. What he doesn’t know is that Lara is hiding a similar secret: she is a single mother of three teenagers, facing her own insecurities.
As their feelings grow, they must navigate doubts, misunderstandings, and the weight of family responsibilities. Yet, amid the chaos, tenderness, and inevitable surprises, Tommaso and Lara will discover that true love sometimes isn’t just about two people—it’s also about the courage to bring families together and the hope for a new beginning.
